On Monday June 19^th our students participated in a career and life planning lesson, this occurs each term. Students were engaged in conversations around what makes someone employable, where different careers can take you, what college is like, explored the Careerify and MyFuture websites, and heard from different industries. Some of the speakers we heard from were from UTAS, Launceston Aquatic Centre, Timberlink, a meteorologist and a pilot. A huge thankyou to the speakers for giving up your time to inform our students of the many opportunities within a career, and what students can be working on now to have the skills an employer is looking for.
